As you attempt to create your kingdom, the epic story continues and it ends with the King of Gondor dropping down to stop you. The epilogue allows the players to place themselves in the footsteps of the good races. The plot of the game is, Angmar’s Witch-King builds a realm out of nothing and gathers an army from the northern people, most of whom are Wolves, Trolls, Orcs, and differing Black Numenoreans to destroy Arnor’sDunedain kingdom.

The Rise of the Witch-King campaign is of the tale that the Witch-King was to undertake between Angmar and Arnor before and during the battle before Sauron returned to Mordor. After the epic battle, which was shown at the beginning of the film, The Ring Fellowship, the expansion is set. If you have any technical issues with the patch, please post in the Tech Support Forum with your question or a detailed description of your technical problem.The Witch-King is the primary lieutenant of the dark lord Sauron, and the leader of the Nazgul, his army’s fearsome black-robed generals.

If you want to install a pre-3.0.0 version of 2.02 for replay compatibility, downloads are available here.

#RISE OF THE WITCH KING MODS PATCH#

If you do not completely uninstall pre-3.0.0 versions, the patch will not work properly.

Foreign language users, be sure to uninstall your language pack as well, again either in Control Panel or with Uninstall202lang.exe.

There should be no files containing '202' left in your game directory. Then, remove 2.02 using the Add or Remove Programs tool in your Control Panel, or by running Uninstal.exe in your game directory (typically C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsThe Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king). Enable 2.02 with the patch launcher before uninstalling. It is VERY IMPORTANT to uninstall a pre-3.0.0 version of 2.02 before updating to a newer version. Your game must be installed in the indicated language in order to use a language pack, with the exception of the Czech language pack, which must be installed in English. If your game is in an unsupported language, then you can still play 2.02, but none of the in-game text will be updated.

No language pack is necessary for English users. These language packs are to be downloaded IN ADDITION to the actual patch (above).
